Collecting colors, stories, and Mediterranean daydreams — then turning them into clay.
About me
Hello, I’m EviUrban Pottery began with clay, but it was never only about clay. It grew from a fascination with places, colors, stories, and the details that often go unnoticed: a tiled courtyard in Sevilla, an orange tree leaning over a quiet square, a striped umbrella by the sea, a handwritten menu left on a sunlit table. My work is deeply inspired by the Mediterranean — not as a postcard image, but as a feeling. The kind that lingers after a journey is over. The warmth of long lunches, the rhythm of coastal towns, the optimism of summer, and the beauty hidden inside everyday rituals.Travel feeds everything I create. Wherever I go, I collect fragments of places: colors, patterns, textures, and memories. Some return as fish and sardines, others as lemons, ribbons, stars, or stripes. What begins as a fleeting impression slowly finds its way into clay and becomes part of a new story.Every piece is shaped and painted by hand in my Athens studio. No two are exactly alike, and I like it that way. I’m not interested in perfection as much as I’m interested in character — in objects that feel alive, personal, and capable of becoming part of someone’s daily life. What I hope to create is more than a ceramic object. I hope to create something that carries a sense of place, a sense of joy, and perhaps a small reminder that beauty doesn't belong only to special occasions. Sometimes it belongs to an ordinary breakfast, an afternoon coffee, or a table shared with people you love. That was the story.
Now — on to what people actually want to know.
Answers, sort ofYes — all dishes are food-safe (unless I say they’re just for your eyes).
Yes — everything is handmade, unique, and painted slowly by me.
Yes — I ship far. Across seas, borders, and doorsteps — my pieces find their way.
Sometimes — I take custom orders. Feel free to ask.
Always — I wrap everything beautifully. Gift-ready, even if it’s just for you.
No — two pieces are ever alike. That’s the whole point.
Often — my ceramics are adopted quickly. If something speaks to you, don’t wait too long.
